Kick convention to the curb in 2019

I’m taking the week off to enjoy a little year-end down time. I hope you are too.

I’ll be back on January 2nd, refreshed and ready to launch the fifth (!) full year of weekly tips.

In the meantime, you might find inspiration for your 2019 intentions in the Get Real manifesto poster and accompanying eBook. The manifesto captures the unconventional wisdom that my 25+ years in the consulting industry (including 12 years in partnership with Trusted Advisor Associates) have taught me transform client relationships.

Are there particular tenets that speak to you more than others as you look to the year ahead?

Two leap off the page for me: “It’s your job to get comfortable with being uncomfortable” and, “Keep it real.” That’s in no small part because I’ll be working on a proposal for a new book in the early part of the year. More on that later.

By the way, copies of the manifesto poster and eBook are free, and there are no strings attached. Download it in the color you like best. Consider using it as a daily reminder of what it takes to be a role model for client relationships done right.
