As an Event Manager for The Get Real Project, I work with clients and facilitators to ensure all event details and logistics are in place—even the tiniest ones. I stay in communication with all the people involved (sometimes there are a lot) to make sure everyone has the tools and information needed for a big success.

I know what I do makes a difference; I enjoy providing administrative support to clients and companies who are making a positive difference in the world.

I’ve been planning events for more than 17 years—working with schools, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. In fact, I’ve been organizing other people’s lives most of my life. My mom went back to work full-time when I was 12. Being the oldest child, I felt it was my responsibility to keep my three siblings on track, and made sure our house ran smoothly while she was away at work. I continued to use my organizational skills when I got married, much to my husband’s chagrin. He couldn’t find anything after I “organized” his desk for him!

When I’m not working, you can find me taking walks with my two yellow labs, Sheba and Karisse, and spending as much time as possible at the beach. My home base is in Riverbank, CA.
